Company to showcase its innovations for austere health care environments

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2013: Sterilucent, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN), an innovative technology company developing low temperature sterilization solutions, will exhibit for the first time at the MEDICA Trade Fair, held in Düsseldorf, Germany from November 20-23, 2013. The company's exhibit will be found at Booth 12B-02.

"As the world's largest medical trade exhibition, MEDICA offers the ideal opportunity for us to introduce the Sterilucent™ PSD-85 Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilizer and its accessories* to a wide representation of international audiences," said Stephen Loes, chief operating officer of Sterilucent.

The Sterilucent PSD-85 sterilizer is a low-temperature vaporized hydrogen peroxide system designed for use in facilities that deliver health care in austere environments, such as combat support hospitals around the world. The sterilizer was designed to U.S. military (MIL-STD-810) specifications; as a result it is safe to transport and ready as soon as it is deployed and operational verification is completed.

The sterilizer's specialized features for austere environments include: a ruggedized design to limit damage due to transportation, low energy requirements, Lumen and Non-Lumen cycles to broaden the types of devices that can be processed, long shelf life for its related consumable products, and the specific capability for processing moisture and heat-sensitive devices. In addition, a full line of sterility assurance consumables and processing accessories assures that all the necessary elements are available for consistent, productive, low-temperature sterilization.
